Below is an excerpt of two of the characters listed at SeeingPatterns. [LUCAS VOGEL] 30's-late 40's, male. Handsome, sexy, charming, hunky -- to play an international leading man. A high-placed intelligence agent stationed in Germany, he is happy to help out an old flame. (GUEST STAR, POSSIBLE RECUR) Help out an old flame? Could this be one of Olivia's x's? [JONES] 50's, male or female, British. Please submit all ethnicities. Keenly intelligent, playful, and diabolical. Has a detached, bemused, aloof quality. Jones is confident that he/she is part of a greater plan, and doesn't mind patiently waiting for the moment when he/she will be asked to step back up the plate. (GUEST STAR, POSSIBLE RECUR) "...part of a greater plan" along with the sexual indifference raises a few eyebrows. Could this be an andogenous figure, sort of an extreme version of "The Observer"? The "greater plan" suggests Jones is definitely involved with the pattern, and the fact that the character may be recurring suggests we are going to get another chunk of the overarching mythology here.
